The Variety Big Top Ball is the flagship annual fundraising gala of Variety – the Children's Charity WA. Held each year in Perth, it raises funds to support children living with disability, illness or disadvantage across Western Australia through practical programs and direct assistance.

A central fundraising focus each year is the Variety Sunshine Coach — a purpose-built, fully accessible minibus delivered to a school or organisation serving children with disability or disadvantage across WA. 

A Variety Sunshine Coach is a fully accessible, purpose-built minibus delivered directly to a school or community organisation in Western Australia. Each coach gives children living with disability or disadvantage reliable, safe access to excursions, therapy sessions, community activities and everyday experiences — supporting hundreds of children every year for the life of the vehicle.

Variety WA supports children across Western Australia living with disability, illness or disadvantage, and whose families need practical help to access the opportunities, equipment and experiences that other children take for granted.

The Variety Ball is one of Variety WA's most longstanding annual fundraising events, reflecting the organisation's commitment to WA children since 1982.
