The KINGSMAN, Perth

From Perth to Albany, Geraldton, Karratha and Port Hedland, communities across the state will come together with one shared purpose: to raise awareness, inspire action and help create brighter futures for WA kids.

LIGHT UP WA SUNDOWNER

Whether you're joining us at the Light Up WA Sundowner or visiting one of the participating landmarks, every person who takes part helps amplify an important message: no child should face life's challenges alone.
Join us at The Kingsman, Riverside Drive, as we officially launch Light Up WA 2026.

Set against the backdrop of Perth's illuminated skyline, the sundowner will bring together supporters, sponsors, community leaders and families for an evening of connection, entertainment and inspiration. Guests will enjoy premium hospitality while hearing firsthand how Variety WA is helping children living with disability, long-term illness and disadvantage.

As darkness falls and landmarks across Western Australia light up red, we will come together with one shared purpose: creating brighter futures for WA kids.

LIGHT UP WA CHALLENGE

Following the Kingsmen, choose your challenge and make your way through the city, roaming Perth by foot or jumping aboard the hop-on hop-off bus as you visit as many participating landmarks as you can.

Along the way, you’ll be guided by the Light Up WA app, where each stop will unlock something new. Scan the QR codes at each landmark to engage with interactive displays, discover more about Variety WA’s programs, and read real stories from the WA children and families your support has helped.

With iconic landmarks lighting the way and a few planned stops to enjoy the premium hospitality of the Perth metro area, it’s set to be a fun and memorable evening full of discovery, connection, and purpose.
For those who like a little friendly competition, there will also be prizes up for grabs for challenge winners. Full details, clues, checkpoints, and instructions will be revealed in the app.

Choose your challenge. Follow the lights. Discover the impact.
