Variety – The Children’s Charity of WA is inviting adventurous teams of four to get behind Perth’s abseil with a cause again in 2025.
The Central Park Plunge (CPP) takes place from 24-26 October and “Plungers” will abseil 130 metres down Perth’s Central Park Tower on St Georges Terrace. Eleven lucky charities are set to benefit from the community fundraiser with up to 50 places available per charity.
With a goal to raise $350,000 again this year, the CPP has raised more than $4.2 million since it first started in 2015. This year, Variety WA is aiming to raise $60,000 in funds to help children living with disability to access essential equipment to help them communicate, get mobile, learn, play and laugh.
Variety WA Chief Executive Officer, Chris Chatterton is excited for Variety WA to be one of the featured charities again in 2025: “Variety WA was thrilled to receive the incredible support from our fundraising Plungers last year, and it’s so wonderful to be able to participate in this great community event and be among the featured charities again in 2025.
“The Central Park Plunge is a unique and unforgettable team building activity for truly the best causes, and I encourage businesses to consider registering for the descent.” He said.
Interested teams and individuals can register for The Plunge to support the participating charities.
